This vintage decorative vase is crafted from Liuli (a traditional translucent glass or crystal) and features intricate, hand-painted enamel artwork. The vase has a classic baluster form with a flared rim and a slightly tapering body.
The surface features a striking, mottled amber and cream glaze effect that gives it a warm, aged appearance. The main body of the vase is decorated with a vibrant, hand-painted scene depicting a pair of long-tailed birds (often interpreted as pheasants or peacocks) perched among blossoming branches and peony flowers, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune.
The reverse side of the vase features a four-line poem written in traditional black calligraphy, accompanied by a small red artist's seal. The underside of the base bears a square, four-character seal mark reading "乾隆年製" (Made in the Qianlong Reign).
