The base is richly decorated with enamel work. The front panel displays a raised, silver-toned figure of Shou Xing (the God of Longevity) accompanied by a deer, set against a deep blue background and framed by a red geometric pattern. The side panel features a blue background with the inscription "福壽康寧" (Fu Shou Kang Ning), which translates to "Blessings, Longevity, Health, and Peace."

A metal chain is attached near the top of the pipe, adorned with a red bead, a green bead, and an intricate silver-toned filigree pendant. The pipe includes a side tube for the mouthpiece and a small, lidded compartment on the top of the base, likely for holding tobacco. There is also a small metal tool attached to the side.
