The piece is crafted from a translucent, golden-amber crystal with natural internal inclusions and a warm, aged patina. The stupa features a classic tiered structure, rising from a square, multi-stepped base through a series of horizontal tiers to a domed vase (anda) body. The dome features an arched niche delicately engraved with gold outlining, revealing a small, seated Buddha figure (Shakyamuni) within. The upper section includes a square harmika, a tapering conical spire (chhatra) with horizontal rings, and a jewel-topped finial. The square base is further decorated with fine, gold-traced depictions of mythical beasts, likely lions. The reliquary is hollow, containing a large central pearl-like bead and several smaller, textured spheres, traditionally representing sacred relics (sarira). A red cloth is draped behind the piece in the photos, not included.
