This is a finely crafted antique gilt bronze Tibetan stupa, a revered architectural and devotional object in Tibetan Buddhism. The stupa features a classic tiered structure, rising from a square, multi-stepped base through a series of lotus-petal tiers to a domed vase (anda) body. The dome is richly decorated in high relief, featuring a central niche containing a small, seated Buddha figure, surrounded by intricate scrollwork and the mythical face of a Kirttimukha (a protective creature) with a beaded chain. The upper section includes a square harmika, a tapering conical spire (chhatra) with horizontal rings, and a jewel-topped finial, flanked by red-painted, flowing ribbons. The piece is extensively gilded and adorned with numerous turquoise, red, and dark stone inlays across the base and body. The underside of the base shows a flat, patinated surface with visible cast marks.
