This monumental pair of Chinese cloisonne enamel vessels is a spectacular statement piece for collectors or high-end interiors.
Each vessel features a gilded bronze body with intricate cloisonne enamel work in yellow, blue, green, and red tones. The design features a pair of rams (sheep) supporting a central baluster vessel, which is topped with a domed lid crowned by a recumbent ram finial.
The rams' bodies are adorned with floral scrollwork, and the central panel features a stylized bat motif (a symbol of good fortune). These are substantial pieces, standing 108 cm (approx. 42.5 inches) tall and weighing approximately 50 kg each.
