An exceptional decorative Victorian silverplate samovar by Reed & Barton, featuring elaborate Egyptian Revival-inspired ornamentation and an August 12, 1873 patent marking.
This substantial antique hot water urn showcases beautifully detailed engraving, sculptural supports, an expressive lion finial, and a Gothic-style monogram. The combination of ornate Victorian metalwork and Egyptian Revival influences gives the piece a striking architectural presence.
