This is a beautiful vintage Chinese circular table screen, finely hand-carved from boxwood with a dramatic Nine Dragons relief motif.
Nine dragons coil through swirling cloud patterns, centered around a flaming pearl, a classic auspicious symbol in traditional Chinese culture representing power, prosperity and good fortune.
The piece comes with an ornately carved matching wooden display stand. The base is carved with traditional scrollwork and the Chinese characters for "Good Luck & Blessings".
Finished in a warm aged wood patina, this decorative screen works wonderfully as a statement tabletop accent for Chinoiserie, Asian, traditional and eclectic interiors. Perfect for home display, office decor or collector gift.
