Elegant and highly decorative pair of vintage porcelain figural table lamps featuring a colonial-era courting couple dressed in richly detailed 18th-century attire.
The gentleman stands beside a tree stump wearing a vibrant emerald green coat with burgundy accents, orange breeches, and intricately modeled lace-trimmed cuffs and cravat. His companion is depicted in a flowing pale blue skirt with floral decoration, an amber bodice, and a blue bonnet, accented with elaborate lace detailing throughout.
Each hand-painted porcelain figure is mounted on a molded white porcelain pedestal base embellished with gold scrollwork accents. The figures exhibit exceptional craftsmanship, from the finely modeled facial features to the textured lace and flowing garments.
A striking and beautifully detailed pair that combines the functionality of lighting with the elegance of fine decorative porcelain sculpture.
