Mark Alexander started Peyton Bird in 1974 in Santa Fe. The firm has championed handcrafted artisan jewelry inspired by the great American Southwest. They curate relationships around the world with highly talented crafts people and as such have built a gold-standard reputation as the premier Southwestern Jewelry company in the world. This vintage pendant necklace is from the 1980s. The large oval shaped pendant is a beautiful piece of turquoise encased in a wide rimmed Sterling Silver hand hammered setting. The pendant is hung on a four-strand Sterling Silver chain with a toggle clasp. Stunning and beautiful. In the manner of Ralph Lauren Southwestern fashion that is trending this fall. At the time of listing we also offered a pair of Peyton Bird pierced earrings in our shop
