The Dansk "Odin" collection, designed by the renowned Danish modernist Jens Harald Quistgaard is the late 1950s. This pattern is celebrated for its highly architectural shapes, thin necks, and uniquely squared-off knife profiles.

Production locations:
• Germany: 1960-1965– Original Launch period. Exclusive production by high-end German metalsmiths to achieve Quistgaard’s exacting, dense satin finish. These pieces carry the country hallmark, Quistgaard’s initials (JHQ) and ‘Four Ducks’ maker stamps.
• Japan: 1966-1972- In 1965, Dansk moved cutlery production temporarily to France/Portugal, then relocated production to Japan in the late 1960s through 1972.
• Korea & Vietnam: 1973-2012- In 1973, production began in Korea and eventually moved to Vietnam in the mid-1970s. The Odin pattern was discontinued in 2012.
