The composition beautifully portrays a vibrant male and female Northern Cardinal perched among soft white apple blossoms. The piece is pencil-signed and dated by the artist along the bottom border. It comes beautifully framed in an elegant, traditional gold craquelure wooden frame featuring a sleek black inner lip and a soft multi-toned inner matting that echoes the organic tones of the artwork. A perfect addition for collectors of naturalist art, Audubon styles, traditional decor, or cottage-style gallery walls. Ready to hang. The height is 30 1/2, width is 24 1/2 and the depth is 1 inch. I was able to obtain both the Blue Jay and this one for your buying pleasure from an antique store in Portland, OR. See less
