A 1970s bamboo and rattan bench, remarkable for its intricate weaving.
The slender rattan rods create a play of vertical lines on the backrest and seat, with geometric patterns adding rhythm to the back. The bamboo frame forms the legs, armrests, and uprights, while the various joints are accentuated by numerous rattan ties.
A light and graphic piece, with its honey hue and craftsmanship so typical of rattan furniture from this period.
