Bridging late Art Nouveau and early Art Deco, each panel features elegant vertical ribbons of inset cream silk appliqué, stylized botanical medallions, and intricate silk embroidery, all completely finished with a geometric trim, short fringe, and a heavy cream lining for a luxurious drape. Sourced from a well-traveled family in France, these custom estate textiles are in excellent, clean antique condition; while the wool body remains vibrant and structurally sound, there is minor, age-typical splitting ("shattered silk") on a few of the cream silk inserts, though the vast majority of the embroidery is beautifully intact. Dimensions per panel: 24" W x 131" H. See less
