The richly grained rosewood top showcases striking natural figuring and warm reddish-brown tones, complemented by the aged patina of the brass mounts. A single lockable frieze drawer provides convenient storage and retains its key, accompanied by a decorative gold-and-cream tassel.

The desk is raised on distinctive twin trestle supports composed of slender, ring-turned columns joined by finely detailed, bamboo-inspired stretchers. Gracefully swept saber-form feet complete the refined silhouette, reflecting the classical elegance and sophisticated craftsmanship associated with Regency furniture.

Additional details include brass corner mounts, reeded decorative accents, and beautifully proportioned architectural elements that enhance the desk’s understated elegance.

An exceptional example of Regency-inspired furniture design, equally suited for use as a writing desk, occasional table, or sophisticated accent piece in a traditional or contemporary interior. See less
