This is an exceptionally rare, early-era production unit from its original 2016 launch run. Unlike the common, lightweight aluminum reissues currently sold by Uhuru, this heirloom-grade piece is fabricated entirely from heavy, hot-rolled structural steel plate—making it a highly collectible piece of Brooklyn design history that is no longer produced in this material configuration. Estimated around 60-70lbs.
The original steel version features natural chemical patinas, faint iridescence, micro-textures, and organic imperfections native to hand-finished hot-rolled steel plate edges.
