An elegant German porcelain tray with an elongated, faceted oval shape, two integrated handles and a delicate pierced border. A romantic garden scene depicting a couple in period dress decorates the center, surrounded by colorful floral garlands and four black oval medallions featuring pink roses. Gold-tone trim outlines the shaped rim and inner border.
Raised on a low oval foot, this decorative tray makes a beautiful accent for a sideboard, console or cabinet display. Its romantic imagery and floral detailing complement Traditional, French Country and Rococo Revival interiors.
The underside is marked “Germany.” Maker unknown. Estimated manufacture is approximately 1930s–1950s, with the exact date unconfirmed.
