Standing about 18 inches tall with a maximum width of approximately 11 inches across the swelling shoulders, this large-scale piece features a classic ovoid silhouette flanked by two small, dark green glazed loop handles at the neck.

The vase is crafted in the Doucai revival style, defined by crisp underglaze blue and black outlines filled with rich overglaze enamel washes in shades of emerald green, ochre yellow, deep blue, orange, and terracotta red.

A deliberate, finely webbed crackle glaze ground extends across the entire porcelain surface, giving the piece a classic antiqued texture.

The main body is decorated with an all-over, continuous pattern of scrolling green vines, delicate leaves, and bright orange berries.

Centered symmetrically on both the front and back faces is a beautifully painted motif of a stylized blue songbird perched upon a large fruit, a traditional symbol of prosperity and longevity.

The neck features a geometric blue lattice pattern accented by scalloped cartouches framing baskets of fruit, while the top rim and lower base are finished with ornate floral, leaf, and banded borders See less
