An early French landscape painting depicting a country town with red roofs set amongst lush rolling hills below the sky.

Vibrant colors light up the wall. It draws your eye into this quiet place. Perhaps in Provence.

Well composed. This could be a study of Edward Hopper's Cobb's barn and distant houses though we know the painting was done in France. Signed on the reverse.

Oil on canvas. Unframed. Minor surface wear. See less
