The figure is seated in a relaxed, regal posture upon a base. His face is painted in a dark tone with striking red eyebrows, a red mouth, and eyes outlined in white, giving him a powerful, focused expression. He is adorned with an elaborate, gilt-bronze crown and a beaded silver-toned necklace. He wears flowing, gilded robes intricately engraved with floral and scroll patterns, accented with silver-toned trim. In his right hand, he holds a vajra, while his left hand rests in his lap, cradling a small vessel. His left arm also supports a tall, ornate staff (khatvanga) that rests against his shoulder. The sculpture retains a bright, warm gold luster with a rich, aged patina in the recesses.
