The body is richly decorated in vibrant cloisonné enamel on a deep blue ground, adorned with intricate, multi-colored floral and scrolling vine motifs in shades of pink, green, and yellow. The vessel is supported by three legs cast in the form of gilded lion heads and paws. It features two elaborate handles, also cast as stylized lions. The domed lid is particularly ornate, featuring openwork floral and vine patterns in colorful enamel, topped with a gilt-bronze finial in the form of a seated lion. The interior and base show a smooth, patinated metal finish, and a cast seal mark is visible on the underside of the base.
