Each stirrup features a sturdy, arched frame with a flat, oval footrest. The upper section of each stirrup is cast in high relief with a stylized, double dragon-head motif, featuring swirling, cloud-like details. The footrests are decorated with openwork lattice patterns, including a central circular motif, and the bases are finished with an engraved geometric border. Each stirrup is accented with a single, prominent red cabochon stone set into the lower front section. The bronze exhibits a rich, dark brown patina with a warm, aged luster. These pieces would make a wonderful addition to a collection of Asian antiques or equestrian decor.
