Antique L. & J.G. Stickley Mission-style oak coat rack, identified by the seller as signed and dating to circa 1920. The tall, freestanding form has a square central post, a four-way braced base, and projecting dark metal hooks arranged around the upper post for hanging coats and hats. Its restrained lines and exposed structural supports reflect the American Arts and Crafts movement. The warm, dark-stained oak and forged-looking metal hardware make this a functional period furniture piece for an entryway or hall. Makers mark on foot.
