Measuring an impressive 55 inches wide, this striking provincial statement piece balances robust European craftsmanship with highly intricate, elegant decorative details. It is perfectly sized to serve as a dramatic focal point in a refined dining room, traditional kitchen, or open entryway.

The architectural frame is crowned by two expressive, deeply carved griffin or eagle heads on the upper risers, imparting a regal, Renaissance Revival character. The horizontal support bars are entirely wrapped in hand-carved leaf textures, while the central frieze and bottom apron boast spectacular, deeply pierced openwork. These sections feature elaborate relief carvings of stylized floral medallions, scrolling acanthus leaves, and winding vines.

With a generous interior shelf depth of 4 inches, this two-tier rack is perfectly proportioned to securely hold and display large heirloom platters, decorative porcelain plates, or framed artwork. The oak has a rich, warm, dark-stained finish with a gorgeous historical wax patina.
