A wonderfully distinctive mid-century modern dining and game set from Drexel's Esperanto Spanish Revival collection, circa late 1960s–early 1970s.

The table showcases a dramatic radial starburst pattern in beautifully bookmatched walnut wood veneer, creating a striking focal point. Its sculptural architectural base and distinctive geometric silhouette reflect the Spanish Revival influences of Drexel's Esperanto collection.

The four coordinating curule-inspired armchairs feature gracefully sweeping wood frames and original black Naugahyde upholstery, combining distinctive vintage design with exceptional lounge-style comfort.

What makes this set particularly special is its lower seating height. Surprisingly comfortable and inviting, it creates an entirely different dining or entertaining experience-more intimate, casual, and luxurious.

Imagine it in a gentleman's club-inspired lounge, a sophisticated game room, or a beautifully appointed den. Perfect for poker nights, cocktails, conversation, or simply settling in for an evening with friends.

The Esperanto collection features distinctive geometric detailing, and Spanish/Mediterranean-inspired styling, giving this set a timeless character that stands apart from conventional mid-century dining furniture.

Condition: Vintage condition with minor imperfections consistent with age and use. Two small areas of damage, a minor tear and a tiny chip are shown in close-up photographs for transparency. Happy to provide a broader photo so you can see these in perspective.

A fabulous statement piece for anyone who appreciates exceptional vintage design and the art of lounging!
