The group presents three distinct moments from Totò's remarkable career. One photograph captures the actor surrounded by a group of young actresses during a publicity or rehearsal gathering, reflecting his enduring popularity within the Italian film industry. A second image shows Totò performing one of his celebrated physical comedy routines on a film set, dancing with a partner before cameras and crew in a lively behind-the-scenes production still. The third portrays the actor in one of his signature comic expressions, seated indoors with a cigar, demonstrating the unmistakable facial elasticity and theatrical timing that became hallmarks of his screen persona. The versos retain original editorial notations, handwritten production references, layout instructions, and agency stamps from their use within an Italian press archive, preserving the working history of the photographs. Overall very good vintage condition with light handling wear, minor edge and corner wear, occasional surface marks, and editorial annotations to the versos consistent with press archive use. Strong tonal quality and pleasing contrast throughout. See less
