An elegant pair of Italian Art Deco-style bedside tables, dating back to the 1940s, crafted from walnut and featuring a simple, geometric design typical of Italian furniture design of the period.
The bedside tables feature a compact, slender structure, with a top drawer and a compartment closed by a door below.
The doors feature decorative handles and display the beautiful vertical grain of the walnut, enhanced by the glossy finish.
The contoured, overlapping bracket feet are particularly distinctive, lending the furniture an elegant Art Deco feel.
The slightly protruding perimeter frame and the contrasting grain patterns complete the aesthetic of the piece.
The pair maintains a beautiful aesthetic and color uniformity, making them ideal for furnishing a period bedroom or for use as a pair of bedside tables in a contemporary setting, even alongside a modern bed.
Polished with shellac, they show normal signs of wear due to age and use.
