This antique table from France features a graceful bow-front top that carries through to the apron, raised on hand-turned legs that reflects the understated sophistication of provincial French design. Recently finished with a custom paint wash, the surface retains the warmth and character of the underlying wood, allowing the natural grain and age-earned details to remain visible. This late 19th century French table, approximately 4 feet in width, would be perfect as an entry hall console styled with a mirror and lamp, behind a sofa as a decorative accent table, or in a bedroom, where a touch of French country elegance is desired without overwhelming the space.
