This vintage Persian-style Shiraz rug, made in Europe during the 1950s, blends traditional Shiraz tribal aesthetics with mid-century textile production. Machine-woven in soft wool, the rug features a striking geometric composition centered around a bold diamond medallion. The field is filled with smaller angular motifs in red, navy, white, yellow, and black, creating a rhythmic, symmetrical pattern typical of Shiraz-inspired designs.

The borders are richly detailed, with repeating geometric elements that frame the central field and enhance the rug's visual depth. Fringes on both ends add a classic finishing touch. The colors remain vibrant, and the rug is in good vintage condition, making it a versatile accent for living rooms, entryways, or layered interiors.

A charming example of mid-century European craftsmanship influenced by Persian tribal design, this piece brings warmth, character, and decorative appeal to any space.
