This vintage 1950s Uzbek Bukhara rug showcases the timeless elegance and geometric precision characteristic of Central Asian weaving traditions. Hand-knotted in soft, durable wool, the piece features a vibrant red field enriched with symmetrical diamond and arrow motifs in deep blue, ivory, and golden accents.

The rug's composition is beautifully balanced: a bold central panel framed by multiple intricate borders, each filled with small repeating geometric and floral-inspired elements. The craftsmanship is evident in the clarity of the motifs and the harmonious color palette, which gives the rug both warmth and visual depth.

The surface shows some areas of low pile consistent with age and use, yet the rug remains in good vintage condition. Its proportions make it ideal for living rooms, studies, entryways, or as a statement piece layered in a contemporary interior. The original fringes are preserved, adding to its authentic character.

A refined example of mid-century Uzbek textile artistry, this Bukhara rug brings cultural richness and decorative sophistication to any space.
