Carved oak vitrine from the turn of the twentieth century, bridging late Victorian ornament and the discipline of the Arts and Crafts movement. A carved running-wave frieze, fluted details, sculptural side supports and its original glazed doors, opening to shelves for books, ceramics or a collection.
Two available, sold individually. One cabinet retains its original supplier's label from Levi Lumb's Son of Poughkeepsie, New York, with workshop markings to the reverse. Hardware varies slightly between the two, as made. The solid oak carries a deep, even patina. Purchase both for a matched pair.
Condition: very good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. Structurally sound, with original glazed doors and period hardware.
Measurements: 39" W x 12" D x 56" H.
