The deep relief carving and traces of original mineral pigments bring a quiet, historic presence to contemporary interiors.

This is a surviving fragment from a traditional timber-framed structure, dating to the early 20th century. The original mineral-based polychrome pigments have faded and soaked into the wood grain, leaving a subtle, authentic patina that cannot be replicated. The piece is offered with a custom-made stand, allowing it to be displayed upright as a freestanding sculpture. Minor wear consistent with age is part of its history, not a flaw to be corrected.

Overall dimensions: 34 cm W × 17 cm H × 3.5 cm D (panel); stand included. Ready for tabletop display.

This listing is for one tabletop sculpture with a custom display stand. One-of-a-kind original. See less
