Each of the dark green … Read more Rare pair of vases in bohemian lithyalin glass featuring angled sections and gilt bronze mounts. Each of the dark green and marbled vases rests on a pedestal base encircled by a gilt bronze spiraling ribbon. The simple yet elegant angular handles end with orbs that support rectangular suspensions. Charles x period. In 1820, the bohemian count brucquoy discovered the opaque, dark green glass called “hyalith,” and in 1825, “lithyalin,” a marbled glass, was discovered by egerman in haida, germany.
