Underwriters Laboratories foil label on the brass socket, the lamp base is formed from a heavy, square-sided porcelain vase. The porcelain body is richly hand-painted with a classic Imari palette of deep cobalt blue, rusty iron-red, and vibrant green, all highlighted by meticulous gilded gold scrollwork and accents. Each side displays a distinct narrative panel: the front showcases a formal floral bouquet radiating from a patterned ceremonial urn, while the alternate faces depict scenic garden weeping willows, traditional fences, and blooming chrysanthemums. The porcelain vase rests on a custom sculpted four-legged wooden display base with carved corner finials.
