The tiger's body is rendered in vibrant cloisonné enamel on a turquoise-blue ground, intricately decorated with multi-colored floral motifs, scrolling vines, and stylized cloud patterns in shades of red, yellow, pink, and white. The tiger features applied gilt bronze details for its claws, teeth, eyes, and the tip of its tail. The figure is mounted on a heavily textured, gilt-bronze base modeled as a rocky outcrop. The front of the base features an inscribed panel with characters. The reverse of the base bears a cast seal mark. The piece exhibits a rich, aged patina with the enamel showing minor wear and the gilding displaying a warm luster.
