The Buddha is depicted seated in the traditional lotus position (padmasana) with his hands resting in his lap in the dhyana mudra (meditation gesture). The exposed areas of the body, including the face, chest, and hands, are cast in bronze with a rich, dark brown patina and finely detailed features, including a prominent ushnisha (cranial bump) covered in tight curls and a swastika (wan) symbol on the chest. The robes are rendered in vibrant cloisonné enamel, featuring a turquoise-blue ground decorated with multi-colored lotus flowers, scrolling vines, and stylized cloud motifs in red, yellow, green, and white.
