The deity is depicted in a relaxed, seated posture atop a reclining lion, his traditional mount. He wears flowing robes and an ornate beaded necklace, holding a tall, intricate staff (khakkhara) in his right hand and a wish-fulfilling jewel in his left. A large, pierced, flame-shaped mandorla (aureole) is mounted behind his head, featuring intricate scrollwork. The lion is modeled with great detail, featuring a fierce, snarling expression, sharp teeth, and a flowing mane. The base is cast as a rocky, cloud-like formation. The bronze is heavily gilded, with the gold finish showing a rich, warm patina and natural wear. An inscription is visible on the back of the lion's saddle blanket.
