This is a matched pair of vibrant cloisonné enamel Qilin statues, mythical hooved creatures revered in traditional Asian culture as symbols of prosperity and good fortune. Each figure is captured in a dynamic, striding pose with its head raised and mouth slightly open, featuring elaborate gilt manes, horns, and tails. The bodies are richly decorated with polychrome enamel in a deep red ground, filled with multi-colored floral motifs, scrolling vines, and stylized flame patterns in shades of blue, green, yellow, and white. Each Qilin wears a detailed gilt saddle blanket and stands on gilt hooves. The pieces feature a bright, glossy finish on the enamel and a warm, aged patina on the gold accents, characteristic of fine cloisonné craftsmanship.

The gilding on the manes, tails, and hooves has faded and worn naturally over time. The pieces are structurally sound.
