This is a matched pair of finely cast gilt bronze sculptures depicting Qilin, mythical hooved creatures revered in traditional Asian culture as symbols of prosperity and good fortune. Each figure is captured in a dynamic, striding pose with its head raised and mouth open, as if in mid-roar. The Qilin features a scaled body, prominent horns, feathered wings, and a flowing mane and tail. The gilding is bright and extensive, covering the entire body and highlighting the intricate details of the scales and facial features. Each figure is mounted on a carved, dark wooden stand decorated with swirling cloud motifs. These pieces are ideal for display as a pair, symbolizing balance and auspicious energy.
