This is a matching pair of vintage decorative lantern ornaments, finely carved from horn. Each lantern features a hexagonal body with intricately carved panels depicting traditional motifs, possibly dragons or figures, set within a dark, polished frame. The lanterns are suspended from elaborate, curved stands that are also carved with dragon details. Each lantern is finished with a dark tassel hanging from the bottom. The horn material has a rich, dark brown to black tone with lighter, amber-like highlights in the carved areas. This is a highly decorative and unusual pair, perfect for collectors of Asian antiques or as striking decorative accents.
