This is a vintage Shoushan stone seal featuring an exquisite high-relief carving of a traditional landscape scene. The stone boasts a rich, reddish-brown hue with dark, almost black, "crow skin" inclusions that the carver has masterfully incorporated into the design. The carving depicts a detailed pine tree, mountain rocks, and a serene natural setting. It is a substantial and heavy piece with a smooth, polished finish, making it a remarkable addition to any collection of Asian antiques or scholar's objects.
