A hard-to-find “Camp Canoe” pillow cover from Judi Boisson’s American Home Collection, featuring dimensional hand-hooked decoration against a rich cranberry-red ground. Cream lettering with black outlining surrounds a red canoe and diagonal paddle, framed by a rustic branch border. Glossy, pearl-like domed accents embellish the canoe and border, adding a playful finish to its nostalgic woodland imagery.
The wool-blend needlework provides substantial texture, complemented by a plush red velvet backing and dark twisted-cord edging. An overlapping rear flap conceals hook-and-loop fastening tabs for inserting a cushion. The front incorporates the stitched “© Judi Boisson 2003” inscription, and the reverse retains its original American Home Collection label.

New York textile designer Judi Boisson developed her American Home Collection from a longstanding appreciation for antique American quilts, particularly Amish examples.
