The figure is depicted in a seated posture, featuring a fierce, expressive face with bulging eyes, a broad snout, curled brows, and a beard-like tuft. Its body is covered in intricate scale patterns on the chest and legs, and a mane of swirling curls adorns its head and back. The piece retains much of its original gold gilding, which has aged into a rich, mottled patina with reddish-brown undertones and traces of dark oxidation in the recesses. The underside features a cast seal mark.
