Constructed from premium, heavily figured walnut wood with a rich, glowing amber patina, the desk features Risom’s iconic signature carved "smile" (tongue) drawer pulls integrated directly into the wood faces. The expansive workspace top features an inlaid black vinyl writing surface that delivers a striking graphic contrast against the warm walnut frame.

Designed to sit "floating" in the center of an executive suite or a high-end architectural home study, the piece is meticulously finished on all four sides with a beautiful walnut veneer modesty panel.
