The long, narrow top rests on slender legs joined by simple horizontal stretchers, reflecting the straightforward, functional construction of traditional Chinese country furniture. Generations of use have given the pine a warm, weathered surface with visible grain, knots, worn edges, and natural irregularities that lend the piece an authentic, lived-in character.

At just 14 inches deep, this compact console is especially useful where space is limited. It works beautifully in an entryway, narrow hallway, behind a sofa, or beneath artwork or a mirror. Its clean lines and aged surface offer an appealing balance of rustic texture and simplicity, making it equally at home in Santa Fe, farmhouse, mountain modern, minimalist, or contemporary interiors.
