Striking vintage original Fauvist-inspired expressionist painting depicting a stylized female nude in vibrant shades of electric blue, emerald green, turquoise, lavender, and pink. Bold, expressive brushwork, unconventional skin tones, and dramatic color contrasts evoke the artistic influence of Henri Matisse and early 20th-century Fauvism.
Signed Lauren and dated 2000 in the lower right corner. Appears to be acrylic on a rigid, canvas-textured panel, with visible hand-painted brushwork. Beautifully presented in a substantial bronze-brown decorative frame with gold detailing and a cream linen liner. The reverse retains a vintage framing label from "The Art Store & Gallery II" out of Lake Forest, Illinois
A captivating statement piece for contemporary, modernist, eclectic, or maximalist interiors. Its expressive figurative composition and vivid color palette make it an eye-catching addition to a curated art collection, gallery wall, or sophisticated living space.
