The long, narrow top rests on naturally irregular legs joined by simple stretchers, retaining the wonderfully primitive character of traditional Chinese country furniture. Generations of use have softened the elm to a pale, weathered finish, highlighting the wood grain, knots, worn edges, and imperfections that give the piece its distinctive character.

At just 14 inches deep, this console is particularly versatile for spaces where a traditional table might feel too substantial. Its slender proportions make it ideal behind a sofa, along a hallway, in an entryway, or beneath a favorite piece of artwork. The simple silhouette and beautifully aged surface work especially well in Santa Fe, farmhouse, mountain modern, minimalist, or contemporary interiors.

This item will arrive Santa Fe in mid-October '26.
