The glass jar is embossed with the Dazey name, No. 40 designation, and February 14, 1922 patent date.

The hand crank operates smoothly, turning the wooden paddles freely. The paddles are in excellent condition. The cast-iron mechanism retains its aged finish, with surface oxidation and paint wear consistent with its age.

Dating to approximately the 1920s–1930s, this functional antique dairy churn is a fine example of early American farmhouse kitchen equipment. Suitable for a country kitchen, primitive farmhouse collection, rustic kitchen display, or collection of antique dairy and agricultural implements.
