Embracing the signature 1970s minimalist aesthetic, this architectural piece features a rectilinear, rectangular base contrasted by a slender, elegant wheel-thrown neck. The stoneware is coated in a serene, tactile, off-white speckled glaze accented with precise vertical fluting along the upper ridge.
Perfect for collectors of high-end Italian art pottery, West German pottery, and Brutalist design elements.

About the Artist:
Bruno Gambone followed his iconic father, Guido Gambone, to lead the Florence ceramic studio in 1969.
Influenced by his time in New York alongside figures like Andy Warhol and Robert Rauschenberg, Bruno moved away from his father's colorful motifs toward architectural, muted, and beautifully geometric forms. Today, his pieces are internationally sought-after museum-quality works of art. See less
