An impressive vintage slab burl single wood pedestal showcasing the dramatic natural movement of burl grain. The tall rectangular column presents rich warm tones, intricate swirling patterns, natural voids, and surface irregularities that give the piece an organic sculptural presence. Measuring 14 inches wide by 14 inches deep by 46.5 inches high, it is well suited to displaying a sculpture, vase, or collected object.
The original wood finish has developed a rich natural patina, while the simple columnar form keeps attention on the material’s expressive grain. Show Pony Palm Beach describes the pedestal as structurally sound with no visible repairs or significant damage; minor irregularities and natural voids are inherent to burl wood and contribute to its character. A striking mid-century modern accent for an entry, living room, or gallery-style interior.
