Six polished chrome globes are staggered up a slender chrome pole, each on its own swivel arm, so you can aim each globe wherever you want it. Each globe has its own on/off switch, and the lamp stands on a heavy round base with a cast iron weight under a chrome cover, so it feels solid and stable.

Styled in the manner of the Sonneman, Kovacs, and Koch & Lowy eyeball lamps of the era. The lamp is unsigned and we have not attributed it to a maker. The mirrored globes reflect the room around them, which makes it as much a piece of kinetic art as a light source.

Provenance: Purchased by a Miami art collector around 2000 as a vintage "project" piece from the 1960s or 1970s. Completely and professionally rewired by Artistic, in Miami, around 2000. All interior electrical components were replaced at that time, including sockets, wiring, and cord. Used since then to display art in collection.
